About the Role

Moonlight Search is excited to partner with a stable, successful, mid-sized workplace fit-out and refurbishment company in their search for a Sales Director. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth and shape the sales strategy of a dynamic business dedicated to creating environments where businesses can thrive.

This owner-led company has over 50 years of combined experience in the furniture, workplace, and interior sectors. They specialize in delivering inventive design and efficient construction solutions, primarily focusing on projects west of London along the M3/M4 corridors and the Thames Valley area, with project values ranging from £500K to £4M.

As Sales Director, you will:

• Lead and execute the company's business development strategy, driving high-level sales initiatives to meet ambitious growth targets.
• Manage and inspire a team of networkers and business development managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities and repeat business.
• Attend client appointments to effectively communicate the company's value proposition and secure new business.
• Oversee bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and the company's consultative approach.
• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership, upholding the company's commitment to diligence, transparency, and honesty in all client engagements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in workplace fit-outs or related industries, with a background in client-side project management, multidisciplinary services, or professional consulting.
• A proven track record of leading teams to secure and deliver high-value projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to build meaningful client relationships.
• A passion for creating outstanding workplaces and delivering exceptional client value.
